#RadioBattle: Italy is almost ready for Serbia

Carlo Pastore is italian radio presenter from radio Rai Due. He will be opponent to Sofija and Vule, O radio presenters in sunday's quater -finally radio battle. Voting will be held as usual on Twitter by using hashtags #radiobattleRS for Serbia and #radiobattleIT for Italy. Before that, we try to find out how does Carlo feel before the battle.

We talked with Filipo about impressions of this competition so far. But what about you, how was your experience as a participant in this competition?

Its fun and weird in a same time. I have never see music as kind of competition, but in a same time that competitive part give you chance to play some particular music. It's basicly fun, you can play your favourite song, and hopefully the winning one.

What did you learn from this project?

When they first sugest me to participate in Radio Battle, a I was scared because it is hard to work on project likes this, regarding to number of people who are participate also. You need to have a good connection from people around the Europe, speaking in foreign language and stay calm, everything has to flow smooth. I learnt a lot from Filipo, who can keep everything in a control. By the way, we call him Kamikaze. 

Filipo also love to say that he is trying to build bridges between countries in Europe, including Australia by using Radio Battle. What at is your opinion about that? Do you think that we contribute enough?

Idea of uniting countries of Europe trough radio is like moving force. During that one hour of program in battle we just play music and do everyday job. But Filipo is right. We are conected trough Radio Battle. I'm curious to see what would be next step for this project. This can be a lot more for radio stations from Europe.

Did you prepare your strategy for Sunday? What can we expect? And what do you expect from us?

I never plan anything. I didn't even put one song on playlist. I would like to hear your music choice, maybe it will give an ispiration to create my choice. That is the point in the end, I'm thinking like: "Okay, your playlist is great, but mine is better".

What is your story? How did you become radio presenter?

At the moment, I am radio presenter on Rai Due from 2009. When I was 15 years old I started the webiste rock.it, which is very famous in Italy. In a begining we were writting about young bands, quality music and geegs around the country. I had moved to Milan to start doing that more serious, and to make more contacts also. Accidently, my friend told me about job offer on MTV, and there it was, a had become television presenter for show about alternative music scene.

For the and of our converstation  can you suggest us what is good for listening these days?

New album from band called Porches, Pool, its quite good. It is good music piece for running, I suppose.
